About Us and Why Lindmere Exists

Lindmere was conceived by Richard and Jane who spent over 10 years owning and running self catering and serviced accommodation in the West Midlands. This gave us a great insight into the sector. 

We also love traveling to other self catering / serviced rentals around the world. 

There were things we felt were not easy to find, from does the property have blackout blinds or even if the owner knows the size of the bed. Not all doubles are the same. 

Richard has also been involved in online marketing for over twenty years, and was frustrated by the difficulty other owners had in getting leads for their business. Add to that the ridiculous commission many agencies charge, and the restrictions they place on owners, and we thought there had to be a better way. There is. This is it.

We have really thought hard about all the information we would like to get on a site, if we were looking for a property to rent AND the way an owner can get leads at a reasonable cost and built that.
